Of course, I am not immuned to expectations, attachments, or aversions, and I can get carried away plenty in the realm of the ego. Believe me.

But amidst my many trips and falls, I’ve stumbled over a few gems of wisdom along the way that have allowed me to keep showing up, and in a way that feels less and less attached…and more and more present.

The more I tend to my inner realm, the more I can skillfully navigate the way in which I choose to meet my expectations so that I am not behaving in a reactive mode. My expectations can teach me about where my attachments and aversions are still clouding my vision and getting in the way of my highest truth. And with this knowledge, I can move forward with more freedom and confidence, even in the uncertain times.

So, if you’re struggling with expectations and want a new way to work with them, perhaps it’s time to take a look.

In closing, what I’d like to stay is that if you’re going to insist on expecting something in life….expect possibility.

Expect evolution. Expect that as long as you keep showing up there will always be more to learn, and you’ll always become a little wiser with each and every step.

Blessings and love,

Amy
