Whether we like to admit it or not, we all have a judgmental side. I’ve only started to truly come to terms with mine in the last five years or so. Before that, I was blissfully happy in my ignorance.

I hate to say it, but I think I used to be the kind of judgmental person who might have thought, “Well, it’s ok for me to have judgments because I’m right!” Can you relate? 🙂

Fortunately, I’m not opposed to going into the unknown and exploring new territory with a curious beginner’s mind. In my journey, I’ve uncovered some helpful questions to ask one’s self if you’re wanting to do a deeper dive into your judgments and uncover what wisdom they might be holding behind their facade. Take a look.

I hope those questions were helpful for you. I have found for myself that judgments hold a lost less power over me if I can find a trusted companion to talk about them with.

When we start to see that we all have judgments, and we all fall prey to the way judgments can isolate us and keeps us thinking in a fear-based way, we start to create a deeper sense of connection with each other through our imperfect human-ness.

It might be vulnerable, but I dare you to do it. Can you admit to another how your judgments might be holding you back? Why don’t you start by sharing in the comments below.

Big love,

Amy
