I think we’re used to associating fierceness and warriors with outward displays of aggression and intensity, but really I can’t think of anything more fierce than learning to forgive.
Think of how much determination it takes to let go and surrender when your ego is fully triggered. Think of the command you must have over your emotions in order to not take the bait and instead remain still and peaceful in the face of deep chaos.
How on earth do we master this advanced skill? How do we stay open, loving, and compassionate when everything inside us is telling us to shut down, be angry, and close off our hearts?
I certainly am still struggling with this question myself, but I am beyond thrilled to present you with our next Community Profile episode to showcase one of the fiercest warrior women I know, LeTonia Jones – a fellow warrior in our tribe. When it comes to forgiveness, you’ll be blown away by what LeTonia has to share.
As you’ll learn in the video, LeTonia is no stranger to heartbreak or disappointment. She’s had to endure some devastating loss and pain in her life, and yet she somehow not only has learned to gracefully forgive but also manages to reflect her radiant light on others during the process. Her example of courage in choosing to forgive when it would be easy to stay in the anger is nothing short of remarkable.
LeTonia has so much wisdom to share on this topic that I had to break her interview into two parts. You’ll see the first part this week, and next week we’ll conclude with part two.
Yes, this video is a little longer than usual, and you won’t want to miss one minute of it. I mean it. So, set some time aside, and get ready to be inspired.

Amazing, right?
As LeTonia has shown us, the decision to forgive permeates into all areas of our life and is the key to our freedom. (Click to Tweet)
When you’re learning to forgive, it can help to start practicing to just see the humanity in each other and in ourselves.
I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below. What are some of the ways you can start softening your heart to open to forgiveness? What are some of your challenges?
As always, big love comin at ya,
Amy
