It’s funny – we live in an age with more ways to connect technologically than ever before, but it also seems to be a time where people are experiencing more and more isolation and feelings of loneliness.
Why is that?
Well, for starters, connection is not the same thing as belonging. When you take a closer look at the word “belonging,” you can switch it around and understand it as a “longing to be.”
When you feel you belong, that place inside you that yearns for deeper meaning feels satisfied; that part of you that longs for your most authentic self feels engaged and understood.
Merely connecting faster, more efficiently, and over long distances with greater ease because of technology will not necessarily inspire a feeling of belonging. Sadly, sometimes even in a lot of our friendships and family connections, we don’t always experience a feeling of our “longing to be” either.
That’s why we need a tribe.
A tribe is like your community of like -minded soul sisters and brothers. People that “get” you, even if you’ve just met. It’s like there’s an unspoken knowing among tribeswomen and men that allows them to support each other without even saying a word. You can just feel the sense of belonging that exists between you.
I want to share with you some of the most important benefits of having a tribe in the final Living in Your Potential video.Be sure to watch it all the way through. At the end, I share a very SPECIAL opportunity to collaborate with this tribe of warrior woman and share your wisdom with the group!
