We Are More Alike Than We Are Different

So often in our world, we highlight the differences between us, placing our individualism above all else. And this is a great time of year to take a step back from that and remember that in fact we are far more alike than we are different.

It’s no coincidence that so many religions and spiritual paths celebrate during this time of year.

It’s a sacred time. A time of turning inward, the winter solstice and honoring the cycles of nature. It’s a time of looking back on the year past and celebrating the joys, remembering the losses, and showing gratitude for another year past.

So much of what makes us human isn’t the domain of any one religion or spiritual path. So, no matter what holiday you’re celebrating this time of year or spiritual path you choose to follow, I hope you’ll take a moment to watch this short offering I’ve prepared for you.
