I see us all like trees – big beautiful bountiful trees. But sometimes we get so obsessed with what’s hanging on the branch of the moment (maybe a ripe juicy fruit or maybe a crumpled up old dead leaf) that we can mistake what’s happening on that one little branch as the sum total of who we are and what we can be.

WRONG!

In our overly focused attention on the drama of the moment, we forget that we are not merely a branch, or the juicy fruit or dead leaf residing on it, but we are the whole big mighty tree itself. We are capable of endless possibilities, and there are endless ways in which our lives can unfold.

Every now and then, it pays to take a step back and remember your “tree” self. It’s critical to carve out some time to ask the big questions – the questions that help define who we are, that help guide us on our paths, and help us determine the way we want to show up in this world.

Today, I give you my top three questions that you really need to ask yourself if you’re serious about living authentically. I am in the process of re-visiting these questions myself. Springtime is a great time to re-evaluate your life’s path.

And I’ll warn you, they are not necessarily the easiest questions to answer, but if you can tolerate some challenge, the reward on the other side – a truly authentic and fulfilling life – is well worth the effort. Check it out.

So, now the real work begins. Sit down and make the time to answer these questions thoroughly. Think of it like creating the owner’s manual for you!

Yes, it will require effort, but as Aristotle once said “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”

Life on this earth is precious. Let’s make it count by living a life that is truly aligned with our truth.

Love and light my friends,

Amy
