Supporting women’s causes are definitely in vogue right now. That’s a good thing ultimately, but when something becomes popular, it’s also easy for us to lose interest. We go numb with media overload.
Even the most passionate of us can get de-sensitized like this.

When I get jaded, which can happen a lot at year-end after the media blitz during the holidays, I know it’s my responsibility to revisit how I interact with the issue so that I can re-invigorate my passion and activate my role in moving things forward.

If you are a regular at this blog, I know you are passionate about women’s issues too. And in my last video of 2013, I want to share with you the ways I am choosing to rejuvenate my passion for helping women in the new year ahead.

I am choosing to commit to all of the suggestions I make in this video for the next year, but even if you just committed to one idea, it would be enough to start re-awakening your commitment.

You should know, these are grounded suggestions to make things real and personal for you because one of the first antidotes to de-sensitization around an issue is to get specific. So, if you’re ready for a recharge and want to renew your personal commitment to the global sisterhood, this is the perfect video to watch now. Take a look.

So what will you commit to?

Here is the link to the Declaration of the Woman Warrior. Also, remember to write in the comments below how you plan to be a warrior woman in 2014.

And finally, a SPECIAL REQUEST: If you’re feeling the love and want to pay it forward, please send this video to THREE of your girlfriends now. Let’s grow our community together.

Lots of love sisters and many blessings for the new year ahead!

Big love,

Amy
